El cotidiano ritual de los oficinistas yuppies, que salen al medio dia a su "Lunch Time".
Un hot dog, el periodico, y una conversacion rapida por celular, un cigarrillo sin que las camaras te vean y volver a trabajar.

The central theme of my research is the inclusion and exclusion.

When I developing a work I start with two concepts and process determines the language that I use to express it. What is important is not the manifestation of a concept or an idea, I like to find the boundaries of two conflicting concepts.

My name is Eduardo Ribera Salvatierra, I am an architect and a self-taught visual artist.As an architect I feel my life is a construction and, as an artist, I live my life as a performance.I did not study at a fine arts academy, I was not friends with established artists and I did not have sex with curators or gallery owners. I was a outsider.I did not have access to the official art scene in my country so I expressed myself in the streets. Since 2000, and for three years, my work took over the city; it was intense and controversial. I attracted curators' attention but they did not know to whom the work belonged because I sign it with a pseudonym: BlueBox.My work moved to galleries, biennials, and competitions. It grew over time until my pseudonym became my first name. I hate that.Now curators, gallerists, and artists are interested in my work and I now work with them. Some times I hate them.One of my most controversial pieces was a performance entitled:“Till Death Do Us Part” in which I married another artist named Daniela Meneses as a performance for the international biennial SIART 07. Curator Cecilia Baya Botti give me away at the altar and the reception was held at the National Museum of Art. The priest who married us and the Catholic Church were not aware that this marriage was a performance piece for a biennial and they did not know that Daniela and I are gay.Controversy and reflection are the ingredients for most of my work. I try to build a strong tie between artists, curators, and institutions and present works of art that convey reflections on taboo subjects.

Eduardo Ribera Salvatierra conocido como BlueBox, nació el 24 de agosto de 1974 en al ciudad de Santa Cruz de la Sierra Bolivia.
Se graduó de Licenciado en Arquitectura y Construcción de la Universidad Nuestra Señora de La Paz.
Artista Visual autodidacta.
Instaló su taller de artes no tradicionales el año 2000 en la ciudad de La Paz.
Realizó intervenciones urbanas y presentaciones en varias ciudades de Bolivia como ser La Paz, Santa Cruz, Cochabamba, Pando.
Participo en acciones y muestras en el exterior Santiago, Brazilia, Nueva York, Washington DC, Miami, Naples y Fort Mayers entre otros.
Participo dos ocasiones en el Salón Pedro Domingo Murillo donde obtuvo Mención de Honor por la obra ¨Mi primera cita¨ el 2001.
El 2003 obtuvo Mención de Honor en el marco del Salón Internacional de Arte SIART por la obra ¨Por Una Gota De tú Mar”.
Un año mas tarde fue ganador del premio FOMEA con la obra ¨Permiso¨ en CONART 04
El 2005 presenta “Marcha T” con el concepto de anti exposición en la galería Oxigeno Fine Arts .
El 2007 inscribe su nombre como Ganador del Gran Premio del Vigésimo Quinto Salón Municipal Pedro Domingo Murillo, con la instalación “Dos Tercios 2/3” máximo galardón que otorga el estado Boliviano.
El mismo año participa en salón Internacional SIART con su obra
“Hasta Que La Muerte Nos Separe” polémico performance donde el artista contrae matrimonio con el arte en una ceremonia real en la Capilla Santa Rosa y culmina con la fiesta de sus nupcias en el Museo Nacional De Arte.
En el 2008 gana uno de los tres premios otorgado por el Banco Mundial en el marco de la feria Emigrante y remesas con la obra “Me Voy Pero Me Quedo” y ese mismo año obtiene Mención en la Bienal de Artes Visuales de Santa Cruz con la obra “Thinku Baila Conmigo”. En 2009 fue seleccionado por la curadora Raquel Schwartz para participar como residente en el programa de residencias KIOSKO Sta Cruz, para compartir durante dos meses con el artista Venezolano Ramsés Larzabal.

Actualmente radica en Santa Cruz y es el Director del proyecto CAJAZUL y trabaja en coordinación con la Dirección De Cultura Patrimonio y Turismo del Gobierno Municipal Autónomo de Santa Cruz en el proyecto Muestra Itinerante De Las Nuevas Artes, proyecto que tiene como objetivo utilizar el arte contemporáneo como herramienta de inclusión social.

Eduardo Ribera Salvatierra (BlueBox), was born on 24 August 1974 in the city of Santa Cruz Bolivia.
Visual self-taught artist. He graduated in Architecture and Construction Universidad Nuestra Señora de La Paz
He set up his non-traditional arts studio in 2000 in the city of La Paz.
He presents Urban interventions and presentations in various cities such as La Paz Bolivia, Santa Cruz, Cochabamba, Pando.
Participate in actions and samples Santiago, Brazilia, New York, Washington DC, Miami, Naples and Fort Myers among others.
Twice participated in the Salon Pedro Domingo Murillo where he earned Honorable Mention for the work ¨Mi primera Cita"
In 2003 won Honorable Mention in the context of the SIART for the work "Por una Gota De Tu Mar"
A year later was FOMEA award winner with the work in CONART04 "Permiso"
The 2005 presents "Marcha T" with the concept of antiartshow in Oxygen Fine Arts gallery.

"Until death do us part" controversial performance where the artist marries art in a real ceremony in Santa Rosa Chapel and ends with the celebration of their nuptials in the National Museum of Art.
In 2008 won one of three prizes awarded by the World Bank in the framework of the fair emigrant remittances and the play "Me Voy Pero Me Quedo" and that same year gets mention in the Biennial of Visual Arts in Santa Cruz with the work "Thinku Baila Conmigo".
In 2009 was selected by the curator Rachel Schwartz to participate as a resident i Kiosko Program, sharing 2 months with the Venezuelan artist Ramses Larzabal.
Currently resides in Santa Cruz and is and works in coordination with the Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Tourism of the Autonomous Municipal Government of Santa Cruz in the proposed touring exhibition of the new arts project which aims to use contemporary art as a tool for social inclusion.
